The conference was co-hosted by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the China Association for the Promotion of International Agricultural Cooperation (CAPIAC), organized by the Animal Welfare International Cooperation Committee of the China Association for the Promotion of International Agriculture Cooperation (IC-CAW), and co-organized by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Agriculture. And it has received strong support from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, the World Farming Animal Welfare Association, the American Meat Exporters Association, and the National Pork Board of the United States. At the same time, the World Trade Organization, the Ministry of Agriculture of China, the United States Department of Agriculture, the University of Edinburgh, the University of Queensland, Australia, the Swedish Agricultural University, the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Anhui Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Northeast Agricultural University, Nanjing Agricultural University, the Inner Mongolia Academy of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry, etc. Representatives of authoritative organizations, experts and scholars attended, well-known domestic and foreign enterprises Alibaba, Netease Weiyang, Smithfield, Keyston Foods, Cargill, Dabeinong, Chia Tai Group, Muyuan, Minhe, Ningxia Xiaoming, Young Eagle Agriculture and Animal Husbandry , Huadu Yukou, Liujiang Animal Husbandry and other high-level representatives attended the meeting, and the total number of participants was nearly 400.
